About Camille
Hello!
I am dedicated and compassionate family medicine physician with 20 years of family medicine experience, nearly 10 on Orcas Island. I have developed networks with multiple healthcare systems during that time—University of Washington, Swedish and Providence Hospitals, Skagit Regional Hospital and Island Hospital. During this time I advocate and care for patients who have unique needs living in a remote environment.
I have been fortunate to have meaningful and important work as a community physician. Like many of you, I have been dismayed at the interference of the insurance industry in the patient-physician relationship. I am pursuing this practice to remove the pressures of insurance and corporate medicine from your health care.
In my 20 years as a physician, I have been honored to accompany families at monumental moments, whether that is a birth in the family, preparing for college or caring for a loved one at the end of life. I equally value helping people achieve their own definition of wellness.
Beyond being a doctor, I am a proud mom (of three), a wife, a daughter, and a lover of gardening and animals.
Let’s work together on preparing, planning and executing your goals for long-term health and well-being. I look forward to being your family physician.
All my best,
— Camille Fleming MD, MBA
